A virus is a man made program or piece of code that causes an unexpected, usually negative, event. Viruses are often disguised games or images with clever marketing titles such as “Me, nude.” A virus is also a small piece of software that piggybacks on real programs. For example, a virus might attach itself to a spreadsheet program runs, the virus runs too.
